You Give Me Butterflies!

Good morning, kiddo. I sit here on the couch, watching my soccer team (Liverpool) play a boring and uneventful game. The excitement is all coming from you, doing somersaults in my belly! I just ate cinnamon sugar toast and an egg. You must've really enjoyed that, because you've been a wiggleworm ever since! The sun is rising and shining onto my face, and you are squirming inside of me. It's a beautiful feeling.

An Introduction

Hello, beautiful darling. This is your mother. I have decided to begin a blog on some of my pregnancy adventures, while you are in the womb. I hope you enjoy the entries.

Just a short one to start off:

Your father and I went on a date last night. To the movies, on a Sunday afternoon. How exciting! It actually was, we got an enormous tub of popcorn and a root beer. We giggled like kiddos during the previews and held hands during the movie. The movie, BTW, was Gone Girl. It was a good one, and when you're old enough, you should check it out!

After the movies, we ran to Schnucks to pick up some last minute groceries. I had a moment in the grocery store, where I was just so overcome with happiness. Your dad and I were joking about his addiction to junk food and dancing in the aisles to the silly music playing overhead. And I was singing to you, in my belly. This is one of life's simplest pleasures. Taking time and savoring being silly with someone you love. Make sure you have many of these moments. Always be silly. I'm 32 years old, and am as silly as I was when I was 16. It makes life a little easier and much more enjoyable.

Alright, my little darling. That is all for now. I am already filled with so much love for you, and I haven't even met you yet. My heart skips a beat when I think of the day we will meet!
