It's been over a week since we received the news that you are a GIRL! My heart truly felt close to bursting as I reached over and grabbed your daddy's hand. Our eyes both filled with tears, and I used my other hand to wipe away a few joyful ones that I just could not hold in. We watched you on the ultrasound for an hour. I could have watched it all day! You waved, made faces, kicked your long (78 percentile) legs, and wiggled around. It was the best movie I'd ever seen, and it was taking place INSIDE OF ME!
Since then, your dad and I both wake every morning and greet our ultrasound pictures of you. We just can't wait to meet you! I know that sounds like a broken record but it's true.
We have your furniture in your painted room. We registered for all of the things babies require (that was overwhelming but we held it together!). We had Stella announce your gender on Facebook. And last night I played you George Harrison songs with headphones placed on my belly. I felt you dance. You have good taste in music!
I'm still constantly craving sweets, so I'm assuming you'll take after daddy and have one heck of a sweet tooth!
